RoadRunner Driving Academy is an ICBC licensed driving school.

We are very proud to be a Langley owned and operated driver training school. We have built our business strictly on our dedication to promote driver safety throughout the Fraser Valley and in return, it has earned us a positive reputation with our students, and other affiliates within the transportation industry.

We have a team of highly dedicated instructors with the necessary experience needed to operate any commercial class of license. Our Instructors have many years of on- road driving experience and also possess the ability to provide our students with quality content and the instruction needed to become a skilled professional driver. Our instructors are able to modify their training technique, for we at RoadRunner Driving Academy realize students have different styles of learning, and we strive to meet those individual needs. Our instructors are licensed under the Motor Vehicle Act for schools and instructors and all instructors are bonded.

Code 20 & 51 – Towing an RV or Commercial Trailer over 4600 KG

Important Notes on Code 20, 51
If the truck has air over hydraulic brakes, an air endorsement is required. If the truck or trailer has air brakes, you need a class 1 license with air brake endorsement (code 15). The class of license or endorsement required depends on your trailers weight.

Late Cancellation / No Show Policy:

The student is to be aware that Roadrunner Driving Academy is booking a vehicle and an Instructor for your use for the driving lesson.

Failure to advise RoadRunner Driving Academy of the intended change at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance for the lesson will result in a cancellation fee. Weekend cancellations need to be made no later than 3:00 pm on Friday.

Rescheduling fees will be as follows:

Class 1		$200.00
Class 3		$200.00

General Prerequisites:

You should be aware of the following before you apply for your commercial driver's license.

• You must be 19 years of age or older for Class 1 (Code 51 and Class 3 can be 18), and hold at least a valid Class 5 license, Class 7 or 8 licensees may not obtain a commercial license in BC.
• All Commercial drivers licensed in BC are required to submit a medical fitness report. A medical form is given at the time your new license is issued. This form can be taken to any GP, walk-in clinic, etc. for completion (it's best to visit a doctor who is familiar with your medical history). The completed report can be mailed to the office of Superintendent of Motor Vehicles (OSMV) to the address provided on the form: or return it to any Driver Services Centre. No medical is required for Code 51, RV/house trailer endorsement.
• The ICBC knowledge test relevant to the class of license you apply for must be successfully completed prior to scheduling any vehicle lessons. We can assist in preparing for this test. There is no charge for this service, If you have booked subsequent training with us.
• You will be asked to submit a recent driver's abstract to us. This can be obtained at any ICBC Driver Services Centre, free of charge.
• Please make sure you have primary and secondary identification with you when you arrive at the Driver Service
