The Safe Seniors Program

Driving is a life long learning experience. Anyone who shares the road is responsible for knowing the rules and regulations that govern its operation. Behind the wheel safety is crucial for any driver. Your awareness and responsibilities must increase accordingly.

We can help your prepare for your re-examination. Our professionals can help you pinpoint your skills that need work, bad habits that need correction or difficulties that would suggest limitations to your driving. RoadRunner Driving Academy wants you to be..... Safe Seniors.

Our Course Includes:

Our Course Includes:
Three and a half (3.5) hours classroom time
Six (6) hours in vehicle training.
Fee: $550.00 (Morning Only) 9.5 Hours

In Classroom:
Driver and vehicle fitness, Laws and regulations,
Review basic rules of the road, Road signs, interaction with other road users. Road-test requirements.

In Vehicle Training:
Observation (e.g., shoulder and mirror checks, scanning)
Space margins (e.g., keeping your lane position, following at a safe distance)
Speed control (e.g., acceleration and deceleration, driving for conditions, keeping to posted speed limits)
Steering (e.g., smoothness, turning)
Communication (e.g., turn signals, eye contact with other drivers)
